Description
Ceylon cinnamon is obtained from the bark of the C. zeylanicum tree which is native to Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. The exquisitely aromatic and slightly sweet tree bark is dried and ground into a fine powder. It can be used in baked goods as well as desserts such as fruit compotes, apple strudel, rice pudding and pancakes.
